Privacy & Cookies

What we collect

If you contact Escapement Labs, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message. Our hosting and security provider may also process technical request data, including IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site.

Optional website analytics

If you select “Accept analytics,” we use Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, page usage, scrolling, outbound-link activity, and clicks on our contact links. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalization. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, message contents, or other directly identifying contact information to Google Analytics.

Cookies and local storage

After you consent, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<container-id> first-party cookies. Google lists a default expiration of two years for these cookies. We store your analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days so we can remember it. This preference storage is used only to honor your selection.

Your choice

Analytics is off unless you accept it. Rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to use the site. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser; the consent prompt will then appear again. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep analytics disabled.

Service providers and retention

We use Cloudflare to host, deliver, and secure this website and Google Analytics for optional measurement. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices. We retain business correspondence and related records only as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, security, and recordkeeping purposes.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information. To ask a question or make a privacy request, email [email protected].

Changes

We may update this notice as our website and practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
